Dermatological surgery at 1170 Vienna. We remove birth marks, skin tags such as fibromas and seborrheic warts, xanthelasma, sebaceous gland hyperplasia, white and black skin cancer. Dr Charlotte Grillitsch is a specialist in scarless surgery. If a scar cannot be avoided, we guarantee a beautiful result by means of laser and flash light, as well as customised infiltrations.
How does it feel?
For children, a numbing cream is applied in advance to the area to be treated. Then, a fine needle is used to infiltrate local anaesthetic fluid. After a short reaction time, you won’t feel anything during all your treatment.
What can I expect from the treatment?
The treatment is painless. After a few hours, the effect of the local anaesthesia will cease, and you may feel light pain. However, pain relievers are usually not necessary. You can take a drug which does not dilute blood, such as Parkemed or paracetamol.
When do I see the results?
After the treatment, skin patches are applied to the area, which are left for a week. Then the plaster is substituted with a specific shower plaster provided by us. Depending on the treatment, stitches are removed after 7-21 days at our practice.
How many treatments do I need?
Usually one treatment is necessary. Xanthelasma and sebaceous gland hyperplasia under the eyes may require several treatments.
How does the treatment work?
The area to be treated is removed by electro-caustic or laser treatment. Birth marks and skin cancer are excised.
Depending on the area, the cost of an excision starts from 150 EUR.
